Great news for anyone who recently watched the excellent series of The Boys over on Amazon Prime.  The show has been picked up for a second season by the streaming giant.

The Boys was met with both critical and fan praise when it was launched late July this year and tells the story of a unlikely would be hero/vigilante Hughie who by a freak of circumstance ends up getting involved with a crazy world of superheroes and those out to bring them down!

The show is based on the cult hit comic book of the same name by legendary British comic book scribe Garth Ennis and features Judge Dredd himself Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, a man with a huge vendetta against all superheroes, Jack Quaid as the reluctant Hughie Campbell,Antony Starr as the Supermanesqe Homelander!

Season 2 has reportedly already begun principal photography and should aire on Amazon in 2020.  Season 1 of The Boys is still available to watch right now!
